Thank you!
Electrical Newton Abbot
We sincerely hope that everyone is as well as can be, during this worrying time. It’s been a tremendous adjustment for us all and we would like to begin by saying a huge THANK YOU to all of the keyworkers that have kept the cogs turning. Your hard work and dedication to helping the nation through this turbulent time is a testament to your strength of character and selflessness. You have endured longer shifts to cover the shortfall, been separated from your families, put yourself in harm’s way, and for that we owe you our gratitude.
We would also like to thank those at City Electrical Factors in Newton Abbot and Edmunson Electrical in Torquay, for sustaining fantastic levels of service and supply, with excellent customer safety procedures. Without you, we would not have been able to continue with essential work.
What Now?
With the plan laid out by the government to slowly and cautiously lead us out of this crisis, and those in the construction industry being actively encouraged to return to work, we wanted to update you on our position and how we intend to move forward.
It will NOT be business as usual. Over the coming weeks, we intend to start contacting those whose work had been postponed due to the pandemic and will mutually agree a suitable time to proceed with the work. Everyone’s safety is our top priority and we have devised strict rules regarding PPE, social distancing as well as a contact tracing system, should one of us contract Covid-19. We certainly won’t be jumping headfirst back into work and our current position is subject to change in accordance with government guidelines.
Keeping us all, safe.
Upon our arrival, you will be asked if any household members are displaying any symptoms. If they are, I’m afraid we will not be able to carry out the appointment and your booking will be re-arranged. If all is well, we will enter the property, keeping a two-meter distance at all times. Please don’t be offended if we ask you to move to another room whilst we work! We kindly ask that the public respect and assist in our efforts to keep ourselves, our family, and the public safe. We will, of course, ensure that all areas in which we have worked, are thoroughly cleaned before our departure.
If you are shielding, we would recommend that where possible, you postpone the work further, until the risk has been diminished.
Whilst the disruption has been substantial, we have used the downtime as an opportunity to re-think the way we work in order to improve your experience with us. We’re excited to get rolling again and look forward to unleashing our new and improved service.
We are available for all Electrical work in Newton Abbot, Torbay and the rest of the South West. As well as Data and Fibre installations throughout Devon.
